Fred Spaven specialises in the research and development of electric motorcycles. With a wide range of electrical, automotive and race engineering experience I will be able to help get your project moving.
I offer services ranging from feasibility consultations to a full design & prototyping/one-off build service for race or road – and anything in between! If you have an idea then get in touch – I love an interesting project!
I am now working with University College London to develop the technologies required to make long distance electric motorcycle travel a reality; a particular passion of mine since my 1,400 mile Land’s End to John o’Groat’s journey on my trusty battery electric “Charging Bullet” motorcycle. Due to this long term commitment, I can no longer accept classic restoration projects although I still stock the popular 8-spring Bantam clutch kit; please get in touch if you need one.
